Our Director

Andrea R. Andreani was born in Buenos Aires where she studied at a French International school that made her a citizen of the world and later on a French citizen. She chose to be an economist in a country where these skills are highly necessary to contribute to the general well-being. She is a humanist, an eternal apprentice with a restless spirit and a tireless seeker of knowledge and good results, who became an agent of change in Argentine public management and in private companies in Brazil and the United States.

She spent part of her university career in Canada and later in the USA. Her return to Buenos Aires marked a turning point as she discovered her true vocation in education and management. Reinventing herself and going back to her roots, she began teaching students at Bilingual Private Schools, first languages and then Economics. The results of her innovative teaching, the response of her students and her leadership among her colleagues in the different institutions soon gave her access to management positions. In the process, she returned to college and majored in educational management and pedagogy. In the schools where she worked, she implemented various exchange and academic programs while collaborating with the institutions to make their processes more efficient. As President of the Board of the Asociación Colegio Franco Argentino de Martinez, she initiated an administrative restructuring and modernization of the Institution through a gradual program of computerization and digitization of teaching.

Her philosophy for education lies in understanding it not only as a means but an end in itself. Students must receive a well-rounded education and not just an academic one. Despite understanding the enormous importance of academic results, she fervently believes that colleges are not only for passing grades, but for LEARNING. Each of the students should be able to develop their own talents and reach their potential in a safe and friendly environment. Educators are there to prepare these students to face the complexity and volatility of the world that lies ahead, ensuring that they leave the school with high self-esteem and become true citizens of the world committed to the highest human values. For this, the educator has the professional obligation to constantly rethink himself to close the gap between cultural-technological evolution and education. This paradigm shift can only be faced by those autonomous teachers who can exploit their diversity (specializations, interests, ideas) in a collaborative way and exercise an open mind to the changing approach to education.

Her favorite hobbies are family, work and good cooking. On vacation she loves to travel, discover and experience new sensations, worlds and cultures. Her definition of traveling is broad because it can be through literature, theater and television. She has visited over 30 countries and lived in 5 of them. She loves scuba diving, horse riding and mountain hiking.
