Dear families and guardians,
With great pride, we communicate that our Lirima School, one more year has stood out in the results of the SIMCE held on October 8 and 9, 2019. Unlike other years, the report only includes results from 8th grade given the situation of the country in October and November 2019, the application of 4th grade was interrupted by alterations in several educational establishments and the application of 2nd grade could not be applied. In this event, 5,953 establishments from all over the country and 222,353 students participated, that is, 94% of the total coverage.
Without a doubt, these good outcomes are the results of the efforts of our 35 participating students, whom we congratulate for their maximum commitment. We would also like to highlight the work and perseverance of all their teachers during this long process, which for many began in infant school, and to our parents and guardians for the unconditional support given to our school and students, factors that have allowed us to position ourselves in one of the leading schools in the region.
These indicators allow us to reaffirm our educational project and the innumerable formative and especially academic improvements that we have made throughout these years. The path traced by the institution centering the student on the learning process and focusing him/her on learning rather than on passing, allows the development of an educational structure that facilitates our achievements and that will continue to spread throughout the rest of our school network.
On the other hand Renata Santander Alvarado, obtained a national PSU score in Mathematics, achieving 850 points, Language 794 and best PSU average at regional level with 822 points.
