Dear Senior School Community,

We extend to each and every one of you a warm and cordial welcome to the academic year 2024, especially to the students who are joining our Cycle. We hope that Colegio Lirima becomes the space you have been anticipating, allowing you to develop solid tools for your future in a safe and enjoyable environment.

We also extend a heartfelt greeting to our 4th-year students, whom we hope to accompany in the best possible way during their final year of schooling. Remember that the success you wish to achieve will be the result of the effort and perseverance you generate daily in all your endeavors. Determination and forward-thinking will be the driving force that propels you as far as you wish to go.

The focus of Senior School and its efforts are dedicated to providing the best educational experiences to our students. As you conclude your schooling in 4th Year, we hope to engage with students who are committed to constructing their personal, family, and professional lives. Thus, collaborative work with families is essential to help them develop as collaborative, critical, and autonomous individuals who manage their lives and make the best decisions. Freedom and possibilities expand when there is rigor, excellence, and discipline.

In line with this horizon that defines our daily work, in the year 2024, we will continue to need active, committed, and self-directed participants in their own learning.

We would like to express our gratitude to our parents and guardians for the trust placed in each member of this team. In this stage of your children’s lives, we share with you the excitement of witnessing their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth, which directly challenges the roots of our teaching vocation and demands the responsibility to constantly strive for excellence. This academic direction that is powerfully integrated into Colegio Lirima aims to reinforce the internal processes of pedagogical work, so that the learning experience is reflected in the results of our students and is also consistent with the changes and demands of the current world.

We also want to inform you that for this year, we have set the parallel objective of continuing to strengthen healthy school coexistence, working on those areas that enhance motivation and the sense of participation and belonging, recognizing that the school is a safe space to share and learn. Finally, we want to emphasize that we will continue to develop initiatives at different levels that aim for pedagogical innovation and promote bilingualism, a characteristic hallmark of our institution. In this way, we seek to continue being recognized as a benchmark in the local educational community and in the northern region of our country.

We invite you to put your best effort, to join our Institutional Educational Project in a committed manner, and to follow the guidelines outlined in our Internal School Coexistence Regulation, emphasizing the daily commitment to attendance and punctuality, classwork, students’ personal presentation, and to feel proud and privileged to belong to our Educational Community.

Dear Students, part of success comes from learning with joy, autonomy, and dedication because, in the not-too-distant future, the competencies you demonstrate to have mastered will undoubtedly make a difference.

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

Warm regards

Rose Marie Kuschel R.
